UI/UX Designer

Position Summary

We are looking for a creative and user focused UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing designs for web and mobile applications. This role involves working closely with crossfunctional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to deliver designs that meet business objectives and provide an excellent user experience. The UI/UX Designer will ensure the designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with a strong emphasis on usability and usercentered design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Design intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience across platforms.
• Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
• Develop personas, user flows, and journey maps to guide design and development.
• Design and conduct A/B tests to assess design decisions and optimize user experience.
• Ensure consistency in design elements and adhere to brand guidelines across products.
• Work with developers to implement and refine designs, ensuring seamless transitions from design to code.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate in an agile development environment, adjusting designs based on feedback and iteration.

Position Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of user centered design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of frontend development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, including developers and product managers.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to design creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Familiarity with design systems and creating reusable design components.
• Experience with accessibility and usability best practices.

Qualifications

• Vast experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on both web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design work across a variety of platforms and industries.
• Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and agile development processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design choices.
• Experience with user research methods, including usability testing and user interviews, is a plus.
• Understanding of motion design and basic animation principles is a plus.
